About me
I am an MSW, couple and family therapist, and a certified EFT therapist by the International Centre for Excellence in Emotionally Focused Therapy (ICEEFT). I'm a registered psychotherapist (qualifying) with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario (CRPO). I hold a bachelor's degree (BA) in psychology and history from Tel Aviv University and a master's degree in social work from the University of Haifa (MSW).
My professional experience was built through years of working in the child and family government services in Israel as well as in my private practice. In several therapy-focused positions in the Israeli public service, I worked with individuals, couples, and families of diverse backgrounds. My work in Family and Parenting Centers focused on issues of parenting challenges, marriage crises, blended families, and parental alienation. At the Child Development Unit, I worked with families with children with various disabilities to develop independence and resilience. At the Domestic Violence Treatment Centers, I helped women and men break the cycle of domestic violence.
My private practice experience includes 10 years of work with varied clients and topics. I have supported my clients through challenges such as relationship crises, anxiety, trauma, intercultural tensions, and depression.
I write a column called "Togetherness" in the Israeli newspaper “Haaretz”. The column looks at the “behind the scenes” of the world of therapy.
